I've gone through 29,000 + nickels and have NEVER found one of the five key date coins, the 1950P is the #1 key. Other four: 1938D, 1938S, 1939D, 1939S. Finding one of these is like finding a 1914S Wheat cent, a 1987P or D Kennedy in the wild CRHing. Beginners luck! Jealous!

I was under the impression that it was the 50-D that was the key date...Always good to learn.

That's quite the haul especially for Canadian coins. I wouldn't mind getting that amount in every box I got!

I was kinda expecting to see more Canadian coins than I did. I say that because when I used to go through boxes of cents I would get close to 90 Canadian cents per box.
