How many silver pieces (all and any % silver) do you currently have in possession and how many do you find per month on average?!

Sorry, but the subject of this thread makes me think the list of replies could serve as an online shopping list for an intelligent and cyber-savvy thug.

It would take you approximately 22 hours with a cutting torch if you knew exactly the position of the plate bars to find out that answer.

That safe was lifted into the house with a crane when it was built, so I'm thinking it's not going anywhere, either.

@Crayb0

Yes, Sometimes lead can be more precious than gold - I sure hope my guns and I never have to experience it though.

Hey Nomad, when it comescto our collections, said it before, you ain't got no friends. When people I don't know well come over, any coin stuff disappears and conversation is limited about what I own, coins, guns, tools all are no-go zones, period. I take names after the shooting is over...

Nomad, imagine you talking halves and skunks. I can't afford to tie up the cash for a box, but every once in a while get $100 in rolls instead of nickel. I have yet to find even a 40%er. This is both Brinks supply and customer turn in (the absolute worst!). In the Brinks ones knew I was in trouble when I noticed three different colors of marker and styles ,X, /, 0 on the dang things. Customer rolls looked like it came from an auto shop! I find mor silver in boxes of nickels! But, then I'm known to be a bit off, isn't that the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results! Maybe I need to get a few more rolls of halvescnext time...

those of you who don't wish to answer don't have to.... you also don't need to jump down my throat over it. There are people on here who announce huge silver finds, which is just as "dangerous" if you're looking at it from a protective standpoint. I think you're being a little over reactive. I'm not after people's stashes, just trying to drum up a little excitement. Not here to make enemies, please be kind.

Crazyb0, thanks for the reply :) hope you strike silver soon!
Rest in Peace

We are usually sensitive, at least I am, when anyone asks how big a stash I might have. There are lots of great posts active right now that give better insight into winning procedures in sorting rolls or boxes. Many of those are extremely informative.

You might also consider checking the search function to get tons of information, much of which is both enlightening and gives successful tips.

Don't be bummed if we avalanched on you. We will share knowledge, but we get a bit Southern about snoopy doos.

WanderingNomad, I don't think most of us mind saying when we find something silver - its just the total amount owned that is not good to post.

In fact there is a Kennedy half roll searching thread on this forum that is daily updated.
