Coin looks correct as far as the design goes. There are silver counterfeits of the date that also look correct.

Is the edge correct? Two overlaps opposite one another?
What is the weight? Any evidence of mounting or tampering near the top?
Density? Ring?

There is damage so it would net grade at about Fine.
There are also several raised lumps in the design - near date.

The slightly displaced die break running through IND should be closely examined for clues pointing to a proper strike.

The edge looks quite bad. The circles are not round. They look like small squares with a circle drilled into the center. That means the coin is most likely NOT genuine.

Answers to the other questions will likely decide which category of fake the coin is. Based on the very nicely copied design, there is very little likelihood that it was made any time before 1830. What is left is a Class 2 Silver Counterfeit - a " Trade dollar" meant for China or a recently made numismatic forgery. There is a very small third possibility, that it may have been made to circulate in the Philippines after 1885 but unfortunately there is no way to distinguish between the last two types unless there is an unmistakable modern component in the alloy. These later non-silver counterfeits tend to be cast copies and have a very tiny market at present.

The best option at present is that it is a silver counterfeit.
