1957 Wheat Penny Cud?

I have found a 1957 that looms like a Cud in the 9. Any opinions? Thank you.

Cuds are associated with rims of coins. That appears the center pin of the 9 broke away leaving nothing to make that hole/impression in the 9. Usually termed a die chip.

Thank you for your valued opinion, you are correct, upon further research I found that this is a common error in this year and thousands have been submitted to PCGS. Again thank you for your response, it's greatly appreciated.

I agree, it's die chip. Pretty neat find. I love how you put that little hand there to point it out!

I agree. Die chips are fun and worth keeping by date. It makes the hours you search coins a little more enjoyable.

I was really happy to have actually found some kind of error, there's a lot of questionable stuff out there,

Oh yeah there is. You will always learn new stuff everyday no matter what. There are plenty of real error coins in circulation waiting to be found. :)
