As you can see there is a nice scratch across the OBS of this nickle.

This nickle is from the 1967 set,what do you think happen to this coin.

It looks like a staple scratch from a 2x2 ripped open. I have a, otherwise, beautiful 1946S Jefferson nickel with one of those....tradgic...

Yes I have that set since the Montreal Expo67 first time I ever notice that.

This was my first collection item in coins after this started all the other coins collection,and now only the silver dollar left,plus my american new collection witch I started this year.

There's also a pretty big fingerprint on the reverse. Perhaps we can trace that fingerprint to the culprit of the scratch?

That scratch is an example of why I use only one staple in my flips, and I make sure it wi well flattened, just to prevent thngs lke that from happening. A large pair od electricians pliars, with rthe insulated handlws make just the tool for this.
But be sure the staples are well flattened!

I have found the suspect of this finger print,i know how to identified finger prints since I took a course in them,after checking certain point on it I came to conclusion that this print belong to me

Forgot to put my surgical glove to handle this coin
