Found this roll hunting. Pretty sure its PMD but thought maybe others could weigh in if they'd like and let me know if they agree. If its not obvious: Theres something going on with the upper rim...It overlaps the wording at the top of the coin on either side. Placed next to another Lincoln Cent they appear to be the same size. Thinking maybe someone whacked it with a hammer a bunch of times? Thoughts?

Thanks,

Jason

Could've been a Dryer Coin for a short time rounding the rim over onto the lettering.

I agree with Mark about it possibly being a Dryer Coin.

Ahhhhhhhh yes I see. I clicked the " Dryer Coin" link and sure enough...I agree. What a thrill to see something different in a roll though I must say. Penny after penny and then something like this pops up and just looks so radically different from the others. I will not let myself get even mildly excited next time ;)

Thanks guys!

I must've flipped over 1,000 of these 83 Lincoln cents so far...one of them is going to be doubled I know it!

Thanks for the encouragement ;)
