Would like to see a close up of the MM! I'm assuming by DDD you mean D/D/D? E.i. a MRPM? I see a line over the MM but would need a closer image to see if it's not just caused by the bubbling. EDIT: if you meant DDO, I don't see any doubling.

The discoloration and bubbling have been caused by...Little Johnnie in the Garage with Grandpa's outdoor grill lighter. Coin has been subjected to flame heat. No RPM/DDO / DDR not even DDD either.

If I had my computer, I'd post some helpful pix, should be able to do so in next couple days... https://coppercoins.com/diesearch.phpThis references RPMS For 1983D, I can't see it well enough to tell. Not only do you match the mm but also location and if possible any markers listed if your coin is same die state.

Okay I'm going to go over this website thoroughly again and my mission is to bring you all the real deal LOL. Besides next I have a ton of 1960s and 70s small date large date bags to go through and if I can't get simple doubling down I know I'm going to screw that up...hehe

see that 9 looks doubled to me in the 1970. I think I'm going to stick to one error until I got it. I have a whole bunch of 1955 Ds to go through and some 1969s to go through maybe I'll even get lucky and won't make stuff up LOL good night guys

Shiner coins: All this information is in my project locked on my computer due back tomorrow, its a writeup on figuring this stuff out called "Coin IDing for Dummies" (yellow cover and all...) Explains simply and in pix this stuff, free to anyone, once done just PM me for it! Even a section on Little Johnnie in the Garage errors (where else you think it came from!)

Dang it Crazybo! YOU NEED TO start a thread with this information TOO.
Sounds like a pretty cool project!
