First let me say this is a great show. I've gone from time to time for over 40 yaars now and the array of merchandise offered is absolutely mind boggling. The show is well laid out, and entry was easy.
That said I have a complaint. If you're not familiar with the area it can be difficult to find the front door. Two years ago I went with my wife and we ended up walking around the entire convention center (which is huge) before we found the door. This time out I parked crossed the street and thought I knew where I was going, but still got lost. I wasn't alone either. I ended up joining forces with another attendee and maybe went "only" a quarter mile out of our way. I observed other lost souls looking for the entrance as well. Had to ask multiple individuals for help. Three or four well placed signs would have alleviated this. Even better might be a small booth immediately outside of the main parking structure where one could get directions. They are building a new pedestrian walkway that leads to the front door, but they're still working on it and unless you look close you might miss it assuming it wasn't open yet (as I did).
The amount of material offered is just mind boggling, and one could go nuts trying to compare and contrast. Yes, I used the app that showed the dealers and coins they were offering, but only a small percentage of dealers participate.
All in all, it's a great show and if you're in the area (I'm 50 miles away) you should go. Southern California freeways be darned.
