we were searching through a box of coins at my pop's place and I found a 1952 threepence that has a strip missing in the middle, which must have happened while it was being made as the print of his head is also stamped into the missing bit (hope that makes sense)

any idea if this is worth anything?

That's interesting...it sounds to me that part of the coin may have delaminated after the strike?
