The doubling appears to be MD, while the stripes might be a woody. If you could upload some pictures of reverse that would help in determining.

The stripes differ enough that it probably is a woodie, but a photo of the reverse would help us know for sure.

Planchet plate extrusion roller staining, lines are too evenly spaced. The lighter area are rub/polished marks, no woody....
