Hard to understand why '64 Kennedys, which should have seen virtually no circulation, should turn up in such poor condition. The poorest I have seen by a long way, even in a photograph.

Yeah, but this looks more like road kill possibly pressed into a soft asphalt road , then in time covered with dirt and sand and years later somehow found . Yes , I have a vivid imagination .

thanks all, I'm skeptical of it being FR2; AG3 is what I am thinking. Photograde only has an FR2 then VF30, and the photograde FR2 looks more worn than this one. It does look more dirty than a pocket piece should, this is how I got it. from the junk silver bin around 12-13 times face

Maybe an acetone soak with a toothbrush will make it look more like a pocket piece . YN do not try this method on your coins .
