I have a 1959 Canadian dollar coin purchased from colonial acres.
The reverse side seems fine but the obverse side seems to have a slight yellow tinge to it.

Is there a way to clean the obverse side or is this a normal reaction to its age?

Thank you for any help.

I think it has more to do with the "normal reaction" to the nasty packaging the RCM used back then. I've seen many, many specimen and collector coins with this kind of "one-sided" toning.

No, you shouldn't clean it. The damage has been done, and cleaning it will probably only make it look worse. Besides, many collectors of Canadian silver have learned to like this kind of toning.
