I'm seeing it as something on the order of AU53. A little too much gone on the headdress for AU55, a bit too little gone on the eagle's neck and shoulder for AU50.

$300 would be full retail IMO. A raw piece such as this is a $200 wholesale "bid" coin these days.

I see this on the lower end AU range. As stated wear on head dress, rub on cheek, etc. the reverse has almost no wear so this could have been maybe a jewelry piece at one time.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think you guys are under grading this. It's impossible to see if there is any luster, but I'm seeing more details on on wing and headdress then low au.
