Any chance you can weigh this? Jewelry stores will usually do it for you if you ask, if you don't have a way to weigh it.

As far as I am certain, the correct weight for a a five dollar gold piece is 8.359 grams, so you have the correct weight.

I know it's real! I just wish I had a decent camera so I can post better pictures. Comparing it with PCGS photograde, my thoughts were ms 60. but I' am by far, not experienced enough to be confident with that guesstamation!
