Howdy. I have been looking hard at coins now for 2.5 years and I save some and go back to reevaluate as I learn more. Just put a bunch back into circulation. lots of delam on dates that made me initially rate them as doulbed in some way. Ok the first is a 1982 coin with a strange 2. I will keep it in any case cause it is probably PMD but it is cool. Second is what I think is a clipped 1980 penny. Has what I think is Blakesley effect on the numbers near the clip. Last in what I think is a 1952 Franklin s/s. Looking forward to comments. Best regards, Rich

The 82 is a plating bubble issue, zinc rot, toss that one...quickly while it's still there!
The next is a partial clip, definitely a "mint" error, keep-able, worth a couple bucks
The 52S is a possible RPM, can't really tell, it's upside down..., has the characteristics of one instead of plain MD, a North punch.

I love the weird 82. Goes in my fun collection.

Not sure why the Frank is upside down. I'll work on it.

thanks much
Rest in Peace

until I looked closely, I thought the 82 was pretty interesting. Too bad that it is a zinc rot. Keep searching. You have good eyes.

Radatat, the first coin you showed has Zinc Rot, but also has a real Clipped Planchet error on it. Keep the Clipped Planchet and put it in a 2X2 flip case before the Zinc Rot gets worse and don't spend it. The second coin might be an RPM, but I am not sure on that.

The second coin with the clip is a 1980 - not the 82 with the zinc rot bubble.

Thanks to all. What do you need to see better on the Franklin s?
