this one is a 1969 s. it looks like a floating roof but I would like everybody's knowledgeable input. if it is it makes for the second one today. Thank you :-)

Now I'll give it to ya, yep, no sign of connection. It is usually on right side too that has that slight downward nubbin's.

I try to check for these when I remember but, haven't found one yet.

I'd say yours definitely is a "floating roof."
