So I found this in a roll it looks to me like Jefferson is breathing fire on GOD but it was probably someone's doing idk but here are a pics

Interesting, whatever the grooves are they start and stop abruptly, unlike a scratch that tends to taper of to a pin point.

It's not a strike thru, there's damage to the letters like something went through or punched down, also slight indention lower slice on rim, motion stopped by rim?

With the displaced metal above and below the groves, I don't see how this can be a struck-through error. My money is with @moxking in calling it graffiti.

Ah yes, I see that the metal has been pushed up on both sides of the damage in those closer pictures.
