My grandfather found this coin and was curious about its origins. After some research I finally found the exact one but am still a little unsure on its origins and worth.

@andrew1234, first welcome to CCF. Second, it would be helpful if your photos: included both sides of the coin, were cropped, and showed the coin oriented the correct way. It sure looks like your grandfather's coin is Qing Dynasty, but the chances of it being worth more than $1 are pretty small. Better pics would definitely help.
