I enjoy Canadian quarter roll hunting...about $2K a year, give or take a few hundred. I quit saving these as I find as many 2001 quarters with "weird marks" as I was find without. I did a search in here and found others with the same experience...

Thanks! I will put it back in to circulation then. What are the odds of finding anything old CRH? Haven't seen anything yet..

Less and less for sure...I still find old quarters once in a while and the odd error/variety....more recently the colored quarters get my attention. At the end of the day you won't find anything if you're not looking! For me the hunt is where the fun is at...finding something is almost anti-climatic? I'll find something and immediately think "Cool...what else is in here!"

Not sure what you mean but just to be clear about what I said above ...typically I'll go to the bank and get $400 in quarters (a few times per year), search them and find maybe 3 or 4 keepers then deposit the rest back into my account. Didn't intend to give the impression I'm finding $2k worth of old/errors/colored coins?

For the 2001, keep an eye out for the "no P" variety. It's hard to find in the wild.
