I bought this bad boy on ebay for 3.00. I think it's hilarious that it happened years later after the Wheat cent era. I love this coin as the Die Break in between the B and I is huge. It's weird that it happened on a modern Lincoln Cent. It would be even funny and cool if it happened on a 2017 Lincoln Shield cent. Errers and Varietys.

Not that it isn't so, but again, don't want to burst you bubble there, just might be a maybe it's a platin blister. My reason for this thought is that normal die breaks (unless RIDB's)do NOT extend into the dies further than the element depth. That appears to stick up more is all, I suspect ANYTHING on those ^&%^%$^%#^%$# stinkin zinkins!

Nope, it isn't a Plating Blister as I looked flat at the coin surface. It's a Die Break because it's raised up.

I see what you're saying. It does stick up above the E and it sure is nice and rounded and smooth like plating blisters are. Ouch, $3 for a plating blister.

I have to say it looks very similar to the LDB4-2007-001 (maybe an earlier stage?) and very similar in general to a lot of other BIEs. I'll go with you on this one E&V.
