On the upper left, it appears to me to be a coin contact mark. Closer images might show me something different.

I agree upper left is a contact mark. Something else to consider, since the mintmark is in the master hub if it was doubled it would be doubled on EVERY 2005 D cent, unless it is the result of a doubled die and I don't see any evidence of that.
