I am IN!!! This ought to be great. Perhaps we need another sticky seeking coin ideas or donations? Value and rarity have no meaning here! Just a chance to show and hold a few world wide coins for a few days before passing them on to another lucky member!

Sounds like fun to me, count me in. There aren't any coin clubs or coin shops here in my town. This seems like a fun way to have a look at some coins that I wouldn't otherwise get to see. I can see it now, the headlines of CoinWorld, "The International Coin Community Forum Numismatic Collection to be on display at Smithsonian"[:p]

Terry is right, there are a few matters that needs to be addressed. Coin/s that is central to this Perpetual Giveaway needs to be decided.A co-ordinator/organiser also needs to be appointed to kick it off. OrganiserUnless a member comes forward who is willing to take on this role, may I suggest MoM to take on this role. Susan gets to sign off as the first name in the Card.... . This role comes with a price, MOM will need to buy a Card for her "children" to play with..[:p] Coin/sMembers wishing to donate to the prize are required to email what the coin is to MOM. The decision to pick which coin/s is solely up to MOM. I would suggest picking no more than three coins to ensure ease of handling and mailing. Once the coins are decided upon, coins selected must be sent to MOM.

I am in as I suggested it. If Susan or anyone else does not want to do it I am willing to set this project up and co-ordinate the sourcing of the coin(s).
I would suggest though due to the fact that because of the international travel this giveaway will have and the cost involved in sending heavey items that the number, size and value of the coins be considered at postage and insurance costs may impact on some cash strapped members who just want to participate in the prestige of such a legacy.

My hat's also in the ring.
I'm not sure how shipping insurance to outside the US works and how much it costs. For that matter, I'm not sure if the USPS has any program to track coin parcels shipped out of the US. Unless someone has the info in their heads or the USPS bible, the shipping procedures will have to be researched and established before we start.
