Howdy all. Help with this would be appreciated. I know is probably worth 1 cent, but thought I would ask, as I have a few of these circle punches in a batch of pennies I bought. I thought it was an attempt to punch a jewelry hole in it. Also, I know the mint mark can vary on these, but thought it was pretty close and cocked sideways. Please advise. Thanks!

Whatever the reason, the circle is definitely post-mint damage. The mintmark is slightly tilted CCW and a bit close to the date but, not extreme enough to create a premium value. Even if it were, the damage removes any of that potential value.

Keep searching!
