Some of the doubling looks to have a roundness to it and in other places it seems flat with sharp edges. But I don't know much about foreign coins to help you on this one. Nice pictures though!

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. I also noticed what looks like a long die chip at the bottom of her neck... Not sure though.

I don't see many (actually rarely) threads about newer British coinage. Probably just not a popular theme.

I suspect that lots are interested and have been lurking but just not able to comment. I'm sure the mods could tell you the number of views.

The 5p is a small coin, smaller than a US cent or British penny and I don't have the magnification or the time to inspect the thousands of 5ps that go through my hands.
