Looking at where the inner part of the 9 points, and the top of the 7, its large date.

I know many use the curl of the 9 to distinguish them but, I don't even look at it. I added a pic to my post above that helps me the most. The "High 7" and "Low 7" are the most useful to me.

Thank you, I will look closer at the height of the 7 for now on, the curl of the 9 is what has been throwing me off, in the picture I can clearly see the 9 points at the top of the 7, but under my magnifying glass it looked like it pointed to the center.
