I've had one of these for quite a while and laid there taunting me. Then I got another one. I decided it wasn't important. Then I got two more! Now I've gotta figure these out. Where from! I swear I looked at every place I can imagine that uses Cyrillic, every ex-Soviet republic and some others. Please help!!

Those are private issues from the Moscow Loan Company (now bankrupt). I've got a couple of them. They're worth very little, but I'm still tempted to try to get a complete set. LOL

Wow, so that explains why I could not find them in the catalog. Too bad I don't read Russian, I'd have saved myself a lot of trouble.

Nope, but I recognized the portrait. I've got two of those, and had to find out what they were, so that's why I remember. They're for "shares" in the company.
