Very finely circulated example exhibiting natural surface toning, showing signs of VLDS die flow movement to the outer limits, and as always is a viable 5c spender. And yeah Frog,

to the family!
Rest in Peace

Its 53 years old

It's a spender. But keep searching and you might find something nice.

Just a circulated 1964-D nickel. Almost 2 Billion minted - very common and like stated above just a spender. Save up 9 more of them and you can probably buy a really nice Uncirculated one.

They made millions, literally over a billion, of 1964 nickels. Only very high quality (full step) coins would have much value.

I can open a roll of nickels today and be almost guaranteed to find a 1964. Actually, it's a game I play. I don't lose often.

You should actually win if you do not find a 1964. More challenging.
Rest in Peace

I agree with everything said about your 64-D Nickel . When CRH'ing this year and mint is like a thorn in your foot .
