Are either of these decently priced? I stopped collecting coins years ago but just recently hello like buying a few. I don't mind if they are cleaned or "details", just want a nice looking specimen that isn't holed or scratched up. What are thoughts on these two:

I'm trying to search ebay for all ccf members but the links aren't seeming to work.
Rest in Peace

The 34 isn't that bad over priced at $60 shipped, but the pix stink, can't tell details and if cleaned, request better pix from seller maybe?

the 08 I would really question, why in an old ANACS but NO DETs grade? That has been drastically cleaned, and scrubbed and attacked with God knows what else, I'd run away, something sets off the smell meter. I don't know varieties if it even matches slab, it might tho...

look at the CCF/eBay members list on home page drop down menu

I remember years ago I could search ebay for all coins from ccf members. When I click the link on here I'm getting an error now.

Also thanks for your opinions on the coins.
Rest in Peace

The 34 isn't bad. BHD are very common. You can usually find lower VF examples from the 20's and 30's for around $50-60 and sometimes less.

If you enlarge the 34, it has a large scratch across the reverse and 08 is overpriced. Look around and get a feel for price per condition before you take a leap.

I am somewhat out on a limb in Australia, when it comes to U.S. coins. Nevertheless, my U.S. collection is far larger than my Australian collection.

It took me nearly 20 years to find a reasonably decent Bust Half, that I was lucky enough to obtain from public auction.

A companion to my contemporary British Half Crown type collection. I hope to eventually complete a U.S. Half Dollar type collection.
