I found this coin roll hunting going through a circulated bankroll from a bank box of U.S. Pennies. The Die crack is huge and it eventually reached to the other rim a few strikes later causing Catastrophic Die Failure. I always loved seeing the coins in the Later Die States and seeing the Die States progress. Into the flip case it goes and into my collection.
Thank you CoinMasters! This is the best "Spiked Head" Die Crack I have ever ecountered. A very good VLDS example too. Hopefully in the next batch of bank boxes I go through, I'll find more.
