Maple syrup is expensive.

I must say I picked up a 2014 Canada Perched Eagle today pretty cheap in PF70 and it has gold plating on the Eagle. This may be as far as I'll go on adorned coins. That makes the third type coin I have with some plating on it. Kind of looks neat to me.

It actually looks really nice, but I cannot say it would fit in with my collection.

I will never say never, because there was a time I was not interested in medals at all. Out tastes are always being refined with time.
