On the cover it lists the dates ranging from 1857-1909.

But the flying eagle started in 1856. Why did they not include the 1856 Flying Eagle cent?

Just spitballing here, but if you are one of the thousand or so people in the world who owns one, probably you aren't keeping your coin in a Whitman folder.

Yea, ah, just how much you will to spend for a raw one, there are a few Chinese fakes you could get to fill a hol, if there was one. Ya see, an ESTIMATED 2000 were minted making it one of the rarest ISSUED coins. The 1916D Merc has a cardboard cutout in it's place same with a few other coin hole/spots.

Who has an 1865 FE cent that has a mintage of 2000 that is 10's of thousands of dollars to put in a coin album?
