Pretty inconsequential, but wanted to see what others thought. I thought it was a crack just looking at it, but up close it looks like a scratch - multiple actually, which for whatever reason would bother me more than the die crack(s). What say you?

The line running through the "T" into the wing looks like a small die crack. The rest look like die scratches or polishing lines. Nothing to worry about.

I think that the line from the wing to the 'T' and the line from the wing to the 'E' are both die cracks. I looks way to strong to be a die polishing line. I do not think it is a die scratch either because it continues from the 'E' to the 'S'.

Regardless of what they are ,you have a nice reverse there . Real nice strike. and I'm sure is hardly if any , noticeable with coin in hand and no zoom . Hope the obverse is the same quality .

with those agreements. Regardless, they are not scratches and I doubt they would influence value or eye appeal for the majority of buyers.

I do not think it is a die scratch either because it continues from the 'E' to the 'S'. WADR strongly disagree and would like to explain. The line from the wing to the E is a) straight and b) a member of a group of several other lines. Both are characteristic of die scratches (polish lines) and not of cracks. Die polish lines can be very pronounced especially when "fresh". Lastly, the fact that it extends to the S is no more an indication of crack vs scratch. Since the scratch is on the surface of the die , where the letters are below the surface a scratch can pass over the crevice easily and continue beyond it. In fact, that it one of the primary ways to differentiate between a coin scratch and a die scratch. The appearance of a scratch going under the devices is a clear indication of a die scratch.

Die scratch, die polish lines, die crack...really makes no difference. It was all part of the minting process and perfectly normal.
