Assuming flashback is creating that silvery coloring on both sides, I'd guess somewhere in the AU-58 to MS-61 range, with the obverse splotches detracting greatly from the eye appeal.

You might be right - perhaps this is just a cleaned coin that is re-toning very poorly. Could we have some better pics please?

It looks like it's been cleaned at one time in it's life. Also the toning doesn't look right to me. I think at best somewhere in the EF grade.

These pics are after a acetone bath, and diffused lighting closer to actual color.

No question this is FS-01.

I'll stick with my original call - weak strike AU-58 or low MS due to obverse stains.

Lots of wear on right wheat, cheek and jaw. I'm surprised it's still so red.

40-45 technical grade. Staining reduces from there.
