I would appreciate help in grading this. I see it as MS - but need help with experts who are used to grading LWCs. Despite my poor pics, the REV looks identical in luster/color as the OBV. Both sides have original, red, bright, and beautful luster. Thanks for help:

63RD. Nice color but only average eye appeal.

Thank you for your help.
Could you you help me understand what makes it a 63?
I fully accept what you both say, I am just trying to learn from those with experience in grading.
@Coinfrog I am interested in learning what you specifically mean by average eye appeal. Is this quality based on lack of luster showing in the pics? In hand its a beaut, but I need a lot of work on lighting etc. These are my first attempts at posting pics accurate enough to ask for help grading and I know by comparing them with the coin in hand that the pics are lacking the luster.

The obverse has many pin-dot field marks, contact marks below Liberty, some apparent slide marks across the face and bust, and the start of a corrosion spot at 12:00. The reverse shows splotchy areas. It's a nice fully red coin but not special enough to warrant an above-average grade.

Thanks for this education. I can see what you are talking about. It is amazing what was right in front of my face and went unnoticed until you explained it to me. As to the corrosion spot - that is where there was some verdigris and a drop of verdicare was applied.

The pictures are huge and showing every little minor flaw. I can see some of the cartwheels - I'm betting it looks a lot nicer and more lustrous in-hand. The large spot at the top of the head will hold it back IMO. But, it was a nice conservation job if that was verdigris!

As of right now I'm in the 64RD camp.
Earle42, your camera (EXIF data is still embedded in the images) is capable of even better than what is shown here. I think you might have been just a touch too close for it to achieve its' sharpest focus. These images are much larger than is absolutely necessary for confident grading, so you might be able to play with the distance from camera-coin and achieve even sharper images at the cost of a little size. The difference could be as little as half an inch or an inch.

SsuperDdave -thanks for this info. I am using something similar DarthMorgan's setup described in this thread where you helped him. http://goccf.com/t/160092My LED lamps are these: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstay...QrcRG__dKG3UIn one point of the thread Darth was stacking 7 Ikes up, putting a Morgan on top, and had the iphone about 4 inches above the Morgan. You are saying if I do this, then I should not zoom to fill the screen - correct?
