On Thursday October 5, 2017, the White House send to the Senate the nomination for David J. Ryder, of New Jersey, to be the next Director of the United States Mint for a term of five years.

According to wikipedia, someone by that name was Director of the Mint late in the (first) Bush administration. It is not clear if it is the same person.
