The overdate of the 42/41 is so 'in your face', you'll know without question when you have one.

I don't see it. This overdate is usually pretty clear.

Oh, cool, but I thought the D mint was harder to see at times. I think the pics you show are 42/41 P, right?

The Philly example is easy to see. The Denver example is a bit harder but there will be obvious doubling of the 4 and a base of a 1 at the bottom of the 2

The Philadelphia 41/42 overdate is obvious, as in Beefer518's image. The Denver version is more subtle -- mainly at the base of the 4 and a hook below the 2.

However, I wonder what that thing is on the bottom of your 4. If I were you I'd keep that on in the Album until you get the real thing.

@just carl - Yes, I noticed the little blip below the 4, and also if you look at the bottom of the 2, there is a little step on the leading edge. Probably just anamolys, and made for interesting conversation :)
