A closer view might show what you see. But the overall size of the devices looks normal. So it might be very minor MD on the areas you can spot differences. When you look at a coin with a microscope, even a toothpick can look as big as a pencil point. So it might be something very minor you are seeing. Depending on the power of the glass your using?
'E' is showing Machine Doubling. It is from a normal die strike that moved after the strike. These are very common. The reason I ruled it out from the beginning is because the overall size of the devices are normal in shape. MD reduces the size of the device. On a doubled die, the doubling is on the die and each strike shows the same enlarged devices. Your coin is from a normal die.
