Occasionally, I have combined some of my coin photos into collages to highlight a particular feature or illustrate a topic. Here's one that features the mint marks of the portrait 8 reales during the reign of Charles III of Spain.  |

Here's a collage of mintmarks I uploaded here long ago:  These are a bit fuzzy, since they are cropped out of full-coin shots, and not closeup shots of just the mintmark. |

Here's another that was uploaded to some CCF thread long ago:  This collage was supposed to show some of the birds (eagles) that have appeared on US coins. |

Of course anyone who combines obverse and reverse pictures into one image is creating a collage. Here's one where I added a closeup of a part of this type of coin that is often weakly struck.  |
