HI I'm new And Need Some Help With 1994 Quarter

I found a 1994 quarter and it looks like there is an R in between the I and B in LIBERTY, if you can tell me if if its worth keeping or not that would be great. Buddy Rest in Peace United States 7075 Posts	Posted 10/12/2017 8:14 pm Your photos have a lot of glare but I think I see the 'R' that you are seeing. It is either damage or discoloration that just so happens to look like the letter 'R'. There's a lot of things that can go wrong at the mint resulting in error coins, but I believe it would be impossible for an extra letter to appear like that. Keep hunting, there's stuff out there waiting to be found. Report this Post to the Staff

Not always, but most of the time an indention is Post Mint Damages ( PMD), only when there is an indention with sharp edges and no raising up of the edge could it possibly be a mint error. to the answer factory!
