Hi I am new and was hoping someone could help me. I found a 1994 quarter and it looks like there is an R in between the I and B in LIBERTY, if you can tell me if if its worth keeping or not that would be great. Thank you so much

Your photos have a lot of glare but I think I see the 'R' that you are seeing. It is either damage or discoloration that just so happens to look like the letter 'R'.

There's a lot of things that can go wrong at the mint resulting in error coins, but I believe it would be impossible for an extra letter to appear like that.

Keep hunting, there's stuff out there waiting to be found.
Rest in Peace

here's my 80% "Innie/Outie" rule. "If it sticks up, it may be an error. If indented(incuse), it is damage." Not always, but most of the time an indention is Post Mint Damages ( PMD), only when there is an indention with sharp edges and no raising up of the edge could it possibly be a mint error.

to the answer factory!
