coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/21/2018 3:13 pm Vending machines and coin contact often alter that area of the coin in 'IN'. If it were hub doubling you would expect the other devices to be altered also. Coin contact could affect just one area, or the entire area. Just depends on how the coin was damaged. (doubling caused by the machine right after the strike) and flattening from the dreaded vending machines. (Flattening the devices) When the coin was struck, the damage wasn't there, but the Machine Doubling was added to the coin right after the strike. Report this Post to the Staff
