ms64. a small cluster of parallel scratches at 8 o'clock on obverse. Couple of fingerprints on both sides. a hit on the eagle's feathers. attractive toning, good luster and look.

My first thought was also 64, although the obv scratch is bothersome. Still, the good looking toning obscures the scratch to some point.. Nice coin!

I am thinking the "scratch" is a die crack. Does anyone else agree with that? I think there is no way it would grade problem free if that was a true scratch.

with 64. This toning is about as good as it gets for Peace. Since so few have decent toning it is unusual.

Undoubtedly a die crack; that's a very common location and shape for Peace dollars.

Given the ugly fashion in which Peace dollars tone, the color here is no worse than "neutral" and probably counts as a plus for some collectors.
