Guess I should have explained that a little better. I know this isn't the grading forum or the photo forum but I was just looking for your thoughts on those. My previous pictures of this coin were, to say the least, lacking... and it caused some questions of color. The coin is legit, graded by PCGS at VG10 but wanted to see if everyone agrees and if these shots were hopefully a better representation of the actual coin itself. Here is the previous picture...

Quote: if these shots were hopefully a better representation of the actual coin itself. Well, only you could answer that. The new pics look much better to me. The reverse might be showing a little Woody effect. The color looks normal to me. Nice coin!

Nice looking coin for a hard to find date/mintmark. Glad that it graded without details. Reverse seems to have had an old cleaning vs being a woody.

It's a nice piece. If it is the slightly lighter chocolate brown color then great because those images have better eye appeal. What is going on with the obverse rim at 1:30? A ding? I do think the VG10 grade is a touch high. I like it as a VG8.

Yes a nice coin you are fortunate to own. Looks VG10 to me. Reverse is solid with almost all wheat lines visible.

VG-8 for me , reverse rim just about worn into coin .I have to disagree about right side wheat lines being all there . Still nice 14-D .

10 is reasonable. Nice natural tone. I see no indication of a previous cleaning.

I'm in the VG-08 camp as well. Not particularly fond of this one.
