Another nice find. Rather than Depeyrot, I would attribute it as Roberts 986. Either way, it is a great coin!

Today I got a great email from the restauration lab.
They have finished the cleaning of 4 of my Carolingian coins. The Legends has become so much better!
(My camera has a technical problem on the moment, so the photo's were taken with my phone)

I would have left it just the way it was, however they did an excellent restoration job.

It's always a harsh decision. What extra information will it provide when I get them cleaned?
