Hi All,

please be gentle I'm new here...and straight off the bat I will say that I am not a collector, although some of the things I've been reading are fascinating!

I just had a question about a $50 note my wife got from the local post office.
She got a few notes but only one has a strange marking on it which you can see in the picture.

Does anyone know what this represents?
I have tried to scour the interwebs most of the day but can't find anything.

many thanks in advance!

EDIT: Sorry, I am referring to the blue mark which includes some kind of T symbol and the number 97

Thanks Nevol,
That certainly clears things up for us.
Also feel a bit silly I didn't see those threads.
Did try to search on here but didn't find them for some reason
