Just received these two. 1794 Liverpool HalfPenny, was actually circulating US coinage at the time and another variety of 1830's hardtimes token.

Cool coins! I've never seen either of them at auctions. You should post the half in the coins depicting sailing ships thread. Congrats, bro!

I love that hard times token, and anything from the 1700's is just plain cool!

Really great Hard Times Token @crazyb0. I would attribute it as HT-33 from my Rulau.

Butch ,I don't know anything about these kind of coins . But I think it's a little odd that they both have the same exact look and color being two different coins and dates . but in any case I congratulate you on your pick up .

Thanks for the comments everyone. I cruise other on-line auctions than ebay and the major coin houses, find better deals there. Some would hate to pay the BP and fees, I just figure that into my top bid. T-Bop, the HalfPenny is a dark chocolate and does look polished at one time, maybe even harshly cleaned, but that's no hinderance on a coin like this for me. The HT Token is a Hershey Brown, and is in good condition.

Congratulations on finding two such different tokens. There is an amazing volume of history connected with both of them.

Glad you figured this out. It drives me mad when fellow members dodge the major coin auction sites out ignorance. Bidders look at the total sale price and place their bids accordingly. The best deals are found on the major auction sites. It's simple math but it amazes me how many fellow members seem to think that the buyers premium exceeds the value of the fargin coin.
