What are the opinions ...

Post what we have .... ?

I am thinking there is now way we are going to have every coin. Less
and less as we get older. As for gold, it will be very few.
Rest in Peace

I agree GR58! I have a few that go back to 1883 maybe further as well as two golds, one from 1905 and one from 1898. perhaps I should of kept that to myself

Gold aside, and probably some 1790's and CC issues, I believe that CCF members probably DO collectively own nearly every date and MM in the US series. Problem is, most of them aren't participating in this thread.

We've already strayed quite far from a "Complete Collection", and I fear the gaps will only increase as we move toward the 19th century. Just not enough participants. Keep at it, wish you guys the best.

I think part of the problem is that many CCF members including myself have many of these coins but in lower grades so we never bothered to take pictures of them. I've been working on long island the last 5 weeks so I couldn't run to my safety deposit box even if I wanted to. Don't know about you guys but I only keep pictures of my choice coins for sharing. Trying to photography every coin I own would be a huge time-consuming task.
