Metalman Pillar of the Community United States 7123 Posts	Posted 02/19/2005 11:51 pm Hello Im hoping someone can tell me the approx. value of a 1970 coinage of the United Kingdom of great Britain and nothern Ireland proof set? This set consists of 8 coins 2 shillings ,Half crown,2 one shilling coins one of england and one of Ireland I think ?one penny ,Half penny,six pence,three pence,, None of the coins are coined in precious metals. I can post pictures if needed according to the enclosed literature, none of these coins were released into circulation for this year, as it was the last year before decimalization of the coinage.
