I have an 1878 morgan 7 tail, engraved LV on face, wondering if Las Vegas slot coin since they were popular for slot use in older years , can't find anything like it.

Could be almost anything. Last Vegas from the gangster years as probable as any other. Fun, regardless.

It could be a Vegas slot coin, but if it were and spent enough time there to wear to that level the reeded edge would likely be smooth as well. If that old girl could only talk...

At any rate, to CCF!

someone simply carved the letters LV, probably their initals, into the coin. Just a damaged coin.
