Just found out that as a buyer on ebay, you can not be the leading bid on more then two items at a time.

What and why....

I saw some 5 cent coins for sale at .01 and wanted to put in a bid on all of them for .25 and they blocked me.

Weird no..

Do you have a new account? They have restrictions for selling like that as well until you have a "history" with them.

You're a newby, and newbies sometimes are scammers, so the rules are there. Not your fault, just keep on doing your thing.
Rest in Peace

I've never heard of any restrictions for buyers. None.

Any seller has a variety of restriction options available to them.

A seller can choose to block a bidder from being the winning bidder on any number of multiple items.

Specifically a seller can set it up so:
Can block "Buyers who may bid on several of my items and not pay for them"
Can "Block buyers who are currently winning or have bought XX (the XX being the choice of the seller) of my items in the last 10 days."
Can block based on feedback "Option to "Only apply this block to buyers who have a feedback score of XX or lower".

ebay states:
Consider selecting this requirement if you are selling expensive items and don't want to sell over a certain number to any single buyer. Learn more about how this requirement works.

Yes, those "buyer preferences" are set by individual sellers. It is not an ebay rule.
