Which of the years are most desirable in the 19822-2008 series? Seems to be 1986 plain, 1990- and 1991-D cents, maybe the 1983 ones too? I saw someone pay 4x face for a circulated roll of 1991-D cents.

If you search many coins, you'll mostly find coins like this one and worse. Had to keep it because it doesn't have a single hit on it and it's a MAD!

There are WAMs ( Wide AM) for 1998, 1999, and 2000 I believe and they command a premium. I've not found many but the ones I've found have all been in pretty bad shape.

The 1986 cents seem to also be in high demand despite 4 billion of those or so per mintmark being minted also.

I think a lot of people collect and/or just store the 82 ones. Just in case they all become rare or something. They are odd since so many different ones were made.

I will get these cents figured out at some point...lol. Right now I'm separating the copper into decades & wheats. Once I figure out what I'm doing with the zinc cents I will start trying to figure out the copper.
